INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

As per NAAC norms, an IQAC was set up at our institute. For the attainment of goals put forward by NAAC, the IQAC has made sincere efforts for the achievement of the same. The main objective of the IQAC is the observance of quality improvement, dedication towards academic excellence, and modification of the most suitable system that helps to improve the working culture at the institute.

OBJECTIVES

  • In order to ensure the adherence to the highest quality standards in academic and administrative performances of the institution.
  • To continuously strive to improve the quality by internalizing the quality culture and institutionalizing best practices.
  • To devise a system which will help in upgrading the quality of overall performance of the institution.

FUNCTIONS OF THE IQAC

  • Development and use of quality benchmarks/parameters in respect of different academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  • Support for creating an environment that fosters quality education and development of faculties with respect to the knowledge and technology that is required for participatory process of teaching and learning.
  • Creating a system for response of students, parents and other stakeholders with regard to quality related processes of the institutions.
  • Conducting inter and intra-institutional workshops and seminars on quality related topics and promoting quality circles.
  • Serves as the nodal agency of the institution for coordination of quality related activities.
  • Creating a quality culture in the institution.
  • Regular conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) and its follow up.
  • Preparing the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in line with guidelines and parameters of NAAC and submitting the same to NAAC
